What is Yum?
Yum is Uganda's premier online food ordering service. We enable customers to browse through the menus of a wide range of Kampala restaurants, place an order and pay - directly online. We know that life in Kampala is hectic, and we strive to make it easier for you.
When is Yum open?
Yum is open 7 days a week from 9:00am to 9:30pm. Each restaurant has their own set of hours as well though. In order to place an order, Yum must be open and the restaurant must be open.
How long will the order take?
That depends on how long it takes for the restaurant to prepare the food and how far away the drop-off point is from the restaurant. Given these variables most orders take from 45-minute to 75 minutes.

Where can I use Yum?
You can use Yum anywhere in Kampala.
What is the delivery fee?
The minimum delivery fee is 200 Ush, and it increases based on the distance between the restaurant and the drop point.
How do I know that Yum has received my order?
Yum will send you an email confirmation immediately after receiving your order. This email indicates that we are processing your request and will have your food to you as fast as possible.
Can I change my order after I have placed it?
It depends on how far in the process your order is. Give Customer Care a call and let us know what changes you would like to make. We'll do everything in our power to make it happen.
How can I find out my order status?
If you have any concerns about your order status, call or email Customer Care. We'll tell you where your food is!
What can I do if I receive my food and discover that there is a problem with my order?
Get ahold of Customer Care and we'll work out an appropriate solution.
Do you give out receipts?
We send out e-mail confirmation that works as receipts. If you wish a receipt in PDF format for accounting purposes, simply shoot an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll sort you out as fast as possible.
Can I change my primary neighborhood Address?
Yes, of course. Simply go to the upper right corner of the screen and click "My Account - > Update Primary Address".
What do I do if I want to order from two different places on a regular basis, say office and home?
We are working on implementing a system where you can select two different delivery addresses. Until that module is ready, the easiest thing to do is to create two different accounts - and sign in with the appropriate one when checking out.
Can I order from a restaurant that's not listed?
No, unfortunately not. But if you have a restaurant you really like that is not listed - tell them to get in touch with us so we can sign them up - or shoot us an email with their contact detail and we will reach out to them ourselves.
Can I order from more than one restaurant?
Yes, of course! You will however have to place a new order to do so. Keep in mind that you will be charged delivery fee again if you place a second order with a different restaurant.
